One of these limited-edition models is launching in Hong Kong this summer

Prestige has partnered with Swarovski to present a Prestige 690 ‘Swarovski Edition’, decked out with Swarovski crystals to embellish its interiors.

One of these limited-edition models is to be launched in Hong Kong later this summer.

The French luxury boatbuilder, a brand of French boating giant Beneteau Group, says the living areas of the yacht are designed to offer “a subtle and refined decoration,” thanks to the collaboration with the Austrian glass crystal brand.

To achieve an iridescent effect, the larger surfaces of the yacht’s interior are created by combining panels embellished with Swarovski crystals with grey oak grooved wood and mirrors.

Clemence Cessou, Prestige product marketing manager, insists that the finished look is not too over-the-top.

“We wanted to work on a specific area on board the yacht to be able to refer to honour a refined and elegant experience on board,” she says. “It’s very important that we wanted it to stay in line with Prestige DNA we didn’t want something too show-off, too blingy — the idea was to have ‘whispered luxury’ — which is our ‘art de vivre‘ and part of the Prestige DNA for sure.”

Brand director Erwin Bamps adds: “Prestige is all about enabling people to enjoy their time at sea. We like to think outside the box and therefore have decided to venture into a project with Swarovski. We share a lot of the same values, including craftsmanship.”

The Prestige 690 was launched at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2021, becoming the new flagship of Prestige’s flybridge series (the F-Line).
