Silent-Resorts, the exclusive partner of Austrian electric cat builders Silent-Yachts, has revealed a new location for its brand of luxury residences in Fiji.
Construction of the residences, which are to be 100% solar-powered and which will focus on luxury and adventure, is to begin at the end of 2023. In addition to the new green real estate, owners will get exclusive use of solar-electric-powered tenders, speedboats, and catamarans.
This will be the second solar-powered marina and residence resort complex by Silent-Resorts. The first is based in Exuma, The Bahamas, and the company says work on the resort is “progressing rapidly”. The first Silent Marina is complete and home to a Silent 55, which is ready for use by guests. By early 2024, the Bahamas resort is to be complete, at which point it will acquire another yacht for use by guests: the Silent 62 Tri-Deck.
“With its beautiful, untouched natural surroundings on both land and sea, and the incredible and welcoming hospitality of the Fijian people, this is the perfect base for us to create our next 100% solar-powered luxury adventure destination, what we like to call “radical sustainability”. Through our innovative ownership options, our mission is to make island residence and luxury yacht ownership more affordable and accessible,” said Victor Barrett, head of Silent-Resorts.
There are 24 founding memberships available, with two ownership models: co-ownership and whole ownership of the Silent Estate Residences. Both options include service from the island’s staff.
“Owners at SILENT-RESORTS can explore the stunning natural surroundings on board the world’s first fully solar-powered yachts, which are seamlessly integrated with the resorts’ pre-engineered, modular, low-impact land-based infrastructure. In short, we are offering the ultimate Fijian escape to our owners,” said Michael Köhler, founder and CEO of Silent-Yachts.
The new Fijian resort will be located on a private island, with jungle hillsides and white sand beaches surrounded by coral reefs. The resort will have 28 four-, five or six-bedroom Silent Estate Residences, 14 two-bedroom Silent Marina Residences and 10 two-bedroom Silent Beach Club Residences.
Residence owners will have access to an owners’ clubhouse beach bar/restaurant and a health and wellness centre, as well as exclusive access to Fiji’s first solar-powered Silent Marina, dedicated to electric boats only, the private Beach Club, and an adjoining wellness retreat.
Owners of residences can also rent out their residences with help from Silent-Resorts, which will manage the residences. The company also said that people who purchase a residence can obtain Fijian residency, allowing unlimited stays.
Silent-Resorts has laid out a plan to link together a series of its 100% solar-powered private resort/residences that will span the globe, with destinations in the Maldives, Zanzibar, Indonesia, the Philippines, Australia’s Gold Coast, and New Zealand.
