Sunseeker has revealed new photography of the interior of the first Manhattan 68 Pacific optional layout, which has been designed especially for the Asia market.
In a standard Manhattan 68 configuration, owners have a four-cabin, three head layout with the galley set aft at main deck level. In lieu of a fourth cabin and private staircase to the master cabin, the Pacific arrangement offers double U-shaped seating in the saloon and a spacious ‚ÄòGrand Master’ suite below deck. The 68 Pacific has been designed to maximise overall entertaining space on board, and offers an impressive array of social areas for a yacht of this size.
The new layout has received much interest in the region since it was revealed. In March, Sunseeker International announced the sale of four Manhattan 68 yachts into Southeast Asia: one into Thailand, one in Singapore and two in Hong Kong.
“The Manhattan range is proving very popular with our customers in Asia, and we have seen significant interest,” said Sean Robertson, sales director at Sunseeker International.
The saloon features social seating to the port and starboard side with a rise and fall TV that can be tucked away when not in use. The dining area has L-shaped seating and a table fold away, freeing up more floor space for a welcoming main deck.
The new layout in the master cabin delivers deep comfortable companion seating outboard, positioned opposite an expansive sideboard with stowage. On the portside, adjacent to the king bed, owners can then opt for a chaise longue, breakfast table and seating, vanity table with additional drawers or another comprehensively equipped sideboard. The master cabin also benefits from a private bar with glass stowage and refrigeration.
The Manhattan 68 is powered by Volvo Penta IPS, and has a maximum top speed of 32 knots. She can reach a range of 550 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots.
Earlier this month, Sunseeker’s Hong Kong distributor Nextwave Yachting opened a flagship, 415-sqm Sunseeker Showcase in The Pulse on Hong Kong Island’s southside. The concept includes an experiential Sunseeker showroom, which allows clients to¬†virtually walk through their chosen model with a 360-degree tour of the interior space.
