Britain’s Sunseeker has celebrated the official launch of its “Famous Five” models, with a joint display of the new Manhattan 55, Predator 55 Evo, 65 Sport Yacht, 88 Yacht, and 90 Ocean, filmed sailing together in formation off the coast of Dorset, England.

The world premiere event was held on Friday, May 14 via the Sunseeker International Facebook page and YouTube channel. Watch the premiere event back below:

In support of the event, actor Hugh Bonneville visited the luxury boatbuilder in Poole to make a guest appearance in the launch video, and tour the shipyards where the models were made.

Hugh commented: “I feel very fortunate to join in the celebratory launch of these incredible new models. It’s an outstanding achievement of which the iconic British company can be justifiably proud.”

Andrea Frabetti, CEO at Sunseeker International, commented: “It was a great privilege to welcome Hugh back to Poole to help launch all five new models, each imbued with Sunseeker style and innovation. This is the culmination of a great deal of hard work, talent and passion by the entire workforce; the credit rests with each and every one of them. This launch is a truly momentous occasion, and I cannot wait to welcome even more clients to our burgeoning ‘family’ as our range continues to expand.”

The five new models are the first to come to market since Sunseeker announced a £38m (HK$393m) investment to accelerate its new product development between 2020 and 2023. It is the first time the company has held a quintuple premiere.

In August 2013 a majority stake in the business was acquired by Wanda Group, the Beijing headquartered conglomerate with strong footprints across China, Europe and the US.
