The yacht will be based nearby on Suzhou Lake and enjoyed by the owner during weekend trips
The first Fairline Targa GT45 has arrived into Shangai, regional dealer Simpson Marine has confirmed. The yacht will be based nearby on Suzhou Lake and enjoyed by the owner during weekend trips.
The news comes shortly after Simpson Marine China expanded into Shanghai.
“Along with offices in Sanya and Shenzhen, we are dedicated to serving our clients and providing the best after-sale service to our owners in the northern part of China,” the company said in a statement.
The GT45 Targa is a rejuvenated model of a Fairline classic. Designer Alberto Mancini has employed his trademark style, ensuring the GT45 Targa captures the essence of its predecessor.
The cockpit has a door-less design that invites the outdoors in. A dinette dominates the central area, complemented by a bar with sheltered L-shaped seating to port, giving guests a space to gather during passages. A sleek hardtop provides shelter from the midday heat, while an electric canvas roof gives guests a chance to enjoy the open air. Sunbeds are found on the aft and forward decks.
Below decks is a saloon with a modern galley. Designed with a two-cabin layout, a double ensuite dominates the bow, giving way to a twin with its own bathroom.
Last week, Asia-Pacific Boating reported how a Sanlorenzo SX76 has become the first Sanlorenzo yacht to enter Hainan under the newly launched Tax Free Port Policy.
Simpson Marine has recently been registered as an operating business in the Sanya Tax Free Port and is now able to deliver yachts to Hainan in this scheme. Simpson Marine’s portfolio of yacht brands includes Fairline, Sanlorenzo, Bluegame, Beneteau, Lagoon Catamaran and Aquila.
