Beneteau First 36 yachtThe brand new Beneteau First 36 yacht, the first model from Beneteau’s new race-cruiser range, is set to debut in early 2022.

The Beneteau First 36 is a continuation of the longstanding partnership between Beneteau and Slovenian boat builder Seascape – in which the French group acquired a 60% stake in 2018 – and their development of the new generation of First boats. The line includes Beneteau sport-cruisers First 14, First 18, First 24 and First 27.

The Beneteau First 36 builds on the heritage of the Beneteau First line. A team of leading international designers joined together to design and produce a cruiser that delivers comfort and performance, as well as high-tech construction while keeping a relatively accessible price point.

The design team was coordinated by Kristian Hajnšek, CTO of Seascape, who worked with the team at Beneteau to bring modern construction technologies into the segment of accessible production racer-cruisers.

The Beneteau First 36 follows the design language of the seventh generation of First, set by Lorenzo Argento as a subtle, elegant and super-efficient boat. Thanks to its wide modern hull, theyacht offers vast living space and comfort comparable to the successful Beneteau First 40.7.

The main promise of the sailing experience of the First 36 is planing in medium winds by short-handed or fully crewed teams while remaining an all-round boat that is an ideal club racer and a capable family cruiser.

The brand new Beneteau First 36 will debut at the Boot Düsseldorf show, which runs from January 22-30, 2022.
