The distinctive aluminium yacht was designed by Britain's Foster & Partners and built by Italian yard Rodriquez Cantieri Navali
The 41.1-metre Rodriquez Cantieri Navali motor yacht Ocean Sapphire has been sold in an in-house deal. The superyacht was previously sold in 2015 by the brokers. Designed by Foster & Partners and built in aluminium by the Italian yard as one of three identical sisterships in the Signature 40 series, the distinctive Ocean Sapphire was delivered in 2010. Sister ship Ocean Emerald is based in Thailand and offers charter in destinations across Southeast Asia including Cambodia, Indonesia and Vietnam. Ocean Pearl charters in the Mediterranean. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-Wogo_sbmc There are floor-to-ceiling windows located throughout the interior of Ocean Sapphire, increasing the amount of natural light. There are five suites that can accommodate 12 guests, including a full-beam master that boats dual private terraces. She can also hold up to 100 people for quayside events.

Sundeck
The main deck offers a home cinema in the saloon, as well as a cappuccino bar and games station. Twin staircases lead up to the sundeck, which is equipped with an outdoor gym. Highlights of the water toys on offer aboard Ocean Sapphire include a 5-metre BSC tender, a Jetski, kayaks, paddleboards, kneeboards, wakeboards and water skis. She also carries a full range of snorkelling equipment.

Lounge area
One of the most striking features of her design is a looming grey superstructure, which spans from bow to aft. This helps to create extra space: 231 sqm of outside deck, and 260 sqm inside, for socialising and accommodation.

Master cabin
Twin Caterpillar C32 engines give a cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of 2,400 nautical miles at 12 knots. Ocean Sapphire was listed for sale by Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage and was asking €6,500,000. The sale was overseen by broker Nicolas Marchand.
