Swiss yacht management company Floating Life has unveiled details of its new 38.7-metre explorer yacht Kiribati 38, which will be built by CCN-Baglietto Group.
The new 38.7-metre-long vessel, described by the company as being ‘seaworthy, comfortable and efficient’, boasts modern exterior design lines and a beam of 8.50-metres. With spacious internal living spaces and a range of 5,000nm (based on a cruising speed of 10 knots), the new explorer yacht is perfectly suited for owners looking to range far from home.
Envisioned in steel and aluminium by CCN-Baglietto Group as a true explorer yacht designed for challenging adventures and safe long-range cruising in the most pristine areas of the world, even in extreme conditions, the yacht’s explorer credentials are bolstered by a C-class hull, ample storage spaces as well as water supplies, ensuring extended periods at seas.
The most important features of the Kiribati are the absolutely unique volumes in her category; the yacht’s five decks include an uninterrupted lower deck layout, capable of connecting the cabins directly with the beach area. The exterior design by Floating Life and Satura Studio, develops along straight and pure lines, and the surfaces, by connecting with each other, give her a marine, impressive, pure and elegant character.
Inside, the large and private owner’s area is located forward of the main deck and boasts a study with a sitting area at the entrance, a spacious full-beam cabin, a dressing room and two separate bathrooms with a large shared shower.
An additional 10 guests are accommodated on the lower deck across five comfortable and independent suites equipped with all amenities.
The 430GT Kiribati vessel is powered by twin Cat C32 acert or MAN 1,081kW engines.
