The Open Days event takes place from July 2-5 at Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club

Asia Yachting is showcasing a Fountaine Pajot MY6 power catamaran in Hong Kong from July 2-5, 2022.

The event takes place at Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club in Causeway Bay. It runs 10am-7pm on Sunday July 3, and 11:30am-7pm on July 2, 4, and 5.

This is the first time this powercat will be open for a boat show in Hong Kong since its debut in France in 2017. Riding on the recent multihull trend in Asia, MY6 has been one of the most popular models in Fountaine Pajot’s motor line in Asia.

With a length of 44-foot, the French multihull model offers impressive volumes equivalent to those that a 60-foot monohull would offer. The exclusive dealer says that the MY6’s ‘luminescent interior and spacious exterior’ are designed to ‘deliver a luxurious and carefree lifestyle.’

The MY6 exterior, co-created by French naval architect and designer Daniel Andrieu and Italian yacht and automotive designer Pierangelo Andreani, is a combination of sporty lines-meets-traditional motor-cat angular edges of the hulls that add to stability and help maximise interior space.

Olivier Besson, CEO of Asia Yachting, says: “We are excited about the current growing trend for powercats in the region, we are receiving more and more enquiries from clients who are looking for space, stability and elegance, and thus a powercat is the top option for them. Fountaine Pajot MY6 is a great embodiment of the qualities that clients are seeking.”
