The bane of big cruising cats is managing the large mainsails, so the Lagoon 620's innovative in-boom reefing system should win new fans for this proven performer.
THE FLAGSHIP 620 is a well-proven design for Lagoon with 72 of the latest hulls sailing, so differentiating itself in the increasingly competitive big cat market was a challenging step to take and that is what the Bordeaux-based builder has attempted with the revamped rig. The new Australian owner says it makes this imposing 62 footer much more manageable.
Along with a newly designed power system, hull #72 is indeed an innovative flagship from the French builder. As for the rest, the main attraction for this size of catamaran is space, with up to six cabins plus crew accommodation.
Versatility is another reason to look at the Lagoon 620, thanks to different galley layouts and topsides with acres of lounging space, especially when you factor in the flybridge.
