The superyacht is designed by Piero Ferrari, Citterio-Viel and Filippo Salvetti, and is expected to arrive March 2021

Ferretti Group and Speedo Marine have announced the sale of the first Custom Line Navetta 30 superyacht to Hong Kong.

The Custom Line Navetta 30 is the first Custom Line yacht to feature exterior design by Filippo Salvetti and interiors by Milan-based Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, which is normally associated with luxury residences. The project, which was announced in April and launched in Italy in October 2020, is meant to signal a new chapter in the brand’s 25-year history.

The 28.43-metre yacht is due to arrive in Hong Kong by March 2021.

In a statement, Ferretti Group Asia-Pacific said that the news capped a recent run of impressive sales.

“Today is an important day for Custom Line and for Ferretti Group Asia-Pacific as a whole: the icing on the cake of a journey that saw 2020 close with record sales, both for this geographical area and for Ferretti Group brands, and 2021 start out with the same positive momentum,” said the statement. “We are proud that our clients in Asia appreciate the beauty, elegance and performances of the new Navetta 30.”

The Italian brand sold over 200 metres of yachts in the final three months of 2020, and sold seven yachts in the period from September to November, joining the previous five orders booked during the summer.

Navetta means “little ship” in Italian, and the 30 lives up to its name. She will have three engine options on her semi-displacement hull, with a best fuel range speed of 10.5 knots and a regular top speed of 15 knots.

The most powerful engine option will allow an absolute top speed of 19 knots. She can reach a range of 2,100 nautical miles at a speed of 10 knots, and offers 334 sqm over four decks; a 25% improvement in interior volume over the model’s predecessor.
