Ferretti Yachts has teased details of its new Infynito range of yachts, which the builder says is inspired by explorer vessels. The new range has been created to complement Ferretti’s current flybridge offering.

Some of the key features of the new range include an emphasis on sustainable materials, as well as a minimalist design approach that seeks to create a link between ‘sea and the sky’ by creating continuity between interiors and exteriors.

The Infynito range introduces a new package of cruising solutions billed as F.S.E.A. (Ferretti Sustainable Enhanced Architecture), which are said to be more environmentally friendly. These include a solar roof that generates electric power to charge the onboard batteries, and ‘hotel mode operation’; powered by a lithium battery pack. A choice of relatively greener materials for the interior design includes ecological paints, sustainable teak, recyclable fabrics and leathers.

Ferretti also heralds the arrival of its new ‘all season terrace’ on the main deck, which is said to offer seamless views from interior to exterior and from bow to stern, while remaining both weather-proof and hidden from curious passersby when the yacht is moored.

Ferretti Yachts’ new Infynito range is a collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The exterior design and hulls are by Filippo Salvetti, while the interiors are the work of Ideaeitalia.

In March, Ferretti launched a US$993m IPO in Hong Kong, with around 70 per cent of the IPO total made from Asian cornerstone investors.
