Ferretti Yachts 1000 Premieres at Gala Ceremony in Shenzhen

On May 15, Ferretti Group staged the Ferretti Group Privilege Day and the premiere of the Ferretti Yachts 1000 at a gala ceremony at the Shenzhen Bay Marina Club and the Sea World Culture & Arts Center.

In addition to the Ferretti Yachts 1000, the flagship of the Ferretti Yachts line, the Group also showed five other yachts recently delivered to Shenzhen, China: Ferretti Yachts 920, Ferretti Yachts 780, Ferretti Yachts 670, Riva 110’ Dolcevita and Riva 90’ Argo.

The Ferretti Yachts 1000 is the largest boat ever produced by the shipyard. A new Skydeck version of the 1000 was recently released, featuring new glazing added to the upper deck, which creates a new indoor space which guests can use if temperatures get too hot, a key factor for yacht owners in the subtropics of Greater China.

Yacht owners and VIP guests attended the ceremony, while a fleet of drones rose above the marina, producing an aerial display. Ferretti Group top management, including CEO Alberto Galassi and Chief Commercial Officer Stefano de Vivo, and key officials from Speedo Marine, the Group’s exclusive dealer in mainland China, welcomed yacht owners onto the stage.

“This is a fantastic moment for Ferretti Group and its seven brands. The Chinese market is experiencing rapid growth and more and more owners are choosing the beauty, heritage and innovation of our magnificent boats,” said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi.

Ferretti Group has built a large presence in Greater China. In 2022, Ferretti Group was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the first yacht manufacturer to list in Hong Kong. The company established Ferretti Group Asia Pacific in 2012 after the company was acquired by Wei Chai Power, a Chinese SOE. Ferretti Group has said it wishes to continue building on market momentum with authentic Italian luxury and through auxiliary services, including brokerage, leasing, after sales and refit work.
