The FY1000 flagship is also the first 'wide-body' yacht from Ferretti
The first Ferretti Yachts 1000, has been launched at the Italian superyacht builder’s Cattolica shipyard for a French owner. The wide-body FY1000 is the Ferretti Yachts flagship, and at 30.13 metres, it also becomes the largest model ever built by Ferretti.
The release of the new model has been met with success: the first three units have already been sold.
“The new flagship is an exciting choral work permeated by the flair, vision and passion of so many skilled and talented people who represent the winning factor for Ferretti Yachts. To them all I’d like to offer my heartfelt thanks for how they have completed an extraordinary project like Ferretti Yachts 1000 in such a complicated year,” said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi shortly after the launch.
FY1000 is a result of collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. Architect Filippo Salvetti designed the exteriors, with interiors by Ideaeitalia.
Many of Ferretti Yacht’s sophisticated hallmarks are on display in the new model: The classic interior styling has been hand-finished with soft, balanced colour tones and luxurious materials. The project retained a focus on creating supreme comfort in both indoor and outdoor areas.
In January, Ferretti Group released its first sustainability report on corporate operations, saying it seeks to minimise the environmental impact of its production processes and yachts. The document formally testifies to the group’s introduction of a “virtuous pathway”; promoting better and wide-ranging corporate social responsibility measures.
