The sailing version, Sixty 5, will arrive later this summer

The Asia launch of the Lagoon Sixty 7 catamaran took place at Hong Kong’s Aberdeen Marina Club on July 9, as the 20.15m motoryacht made a stopover in the city on the way to her final destination in Taiwan.

The yacht’s 220sqm living space and generous 10-metre beam impressed the invited guests as they walked on board.

The yacht is finished inside with walnut wood and crème upholsteries by Nauta Design, and matching bordeaux and purple ambiences outside in partnership with Sunbrella. Her balanced silhouette is the work of the Van Pethegen Lauriot Prevost studio, in collaboration with former automotive designer (Renault and Ford) Patrick Le Quement.

The launch event was themed ‘South of France Riviera’ and was held in partnership with Veuve Clicquot, with a dedicated champagne bar.

On board the yacht Decathlon displayed an array of fun water toys including their flagship inflatable dinghy sailing boat 5S. Hong Kong’s summer and swimwear brand Mazu displayed their new summer swimwear collection, which is made from recycled plastic.
