New Zealand's Circa Marine has revealed a new 40m Explorer yacht concept aimed at intrepid adventurers.
Targetted at the ever-growing explorer superyacht market, the new 40-metre yacht concept has been developed by Circa Marine and LOMOcean Marine and will be able to cruise the world’s most remote destinations in comfort and safety.
While the concept is designed with adventure in mind, that doesn’t mean that owners will have to sacrifice creature comforts. Powered by a pair of Caterpillar C32 engines, the 500-ton concept will feature a top speed of 15-knots and a range of 4,000Nm but will also boast a full-beam master cabin as well as additional guest cabins, and cater to eight intrepid travellers as well as eight crew.
The 40-metre yacht will have a tankage for 70,000 litres of fuel and 10,000 litres of water, and will be equipped with the latest navigation and communications systems, all of which will prove handy when venturing far from the beaten path.
The ability to add a wide range of water toys, including a mini-submarine or a helicopter, adds to the new yacht’s adventurous credentials.
In addition, the yacht will boasts expansive recreation decks as well as a jacuzzi on the flybridge.
Circa marine is a long established family operated company with over 40 years proven history in building high quality aluminium vessels.
