Review – Aquila 36

Built at Sino Eagle Shipyard in Hangzhou, China, the Aquila brand of catamarans aims for simplicity and practicality. Sino Eagle uses the latest techniques in fibreglass production. The design is by J&J Yacht Design, which has a long history of designing sailboats and small powerboats.

Spotlight – Lurssen’s Flying Fox

Her exterior design was by Norwegian designer Espen Oeino, the undisputed king of the megayachts. Flying Fox has a bluish gray hull that almost melds with the sea when the yacht is at anchor, leaving the curving white lines of the superstructure, accented with wood trim, to provide a subtle contrast.
