Starship recently confirmed it is opening an office in Hong Kong's Lantau Yacht Club
Burgess in Asia and Starship Yachts have partnered for the Hong Kong and Macau market, with Starship Yachts’ owner and chief executive Edwin Ho becoming Burgess’ chief representative for the dual markets.
The news comes just a month after Starship confirmed it is opening an office in Hong Kong’s Lantau Yacht Club.
Starship Yachts is the Ferretti dealer for HK and Macau, offering the full range of the Ferretti Group’s brands. Burgess is a global leader in the brokerage, charter, management and new-build advisory for large yachts above 30m, and started its Asia operation in 2015, establishing offices in Hong Kong, Mumbai, Phuket, Singapore and Tokyo.
Burgess says an important part of its Asia strategy is forming partnerships with leading dealerships in key markets, led by respected yachting professionals who share Burgess’ “client-first and teamwork” philosophy. Other partners currently are Lyu Company (Lyu Kamikage) in Japan, Boat Lagoon Yachting (Vrit Yongsakul and Alister Brunskill) in Thailand/Singapore, and Marine Solutions (Anju and Gautama Dutta) in India.
