The BGM75 is the first of the new BGM series of multihull yachts

Bluegame, part of the Sanlorenzo Group, recently unveiled its first multihull 22.7 metre model, the BGM75, at the Cannes Yachting Festival. This is the first model from the new BGM multihull range from Bluegame. Designed to retain the appearance of a monohull with the benefits of a catamaran, the BGM75 is said to offer increased stability, large volumes, and reduced fuel consumption.

Currently under construction, the BGM75 offers specific features including a great hull design for a seaworthy and comfortable ride, sturdy construction, well-protected sidewalls, large beach areas open to the sea, generous front lounge areas, connected cockpits, optimised helm station position, great visibility, extremely easy manoeuvrability, superior quality construction, great attention to details and understated elegance.

The BGM75 is the first of a new series of multihull yachts from Bluegame, which is called the BGM line. Its many attractive features include: an ultra-efficient hull derived from the America’s Cup, designed by Philippe Briand, a world-renowned expert in the design of performance hulls, optimisation of the Volvo IPS propulsion system with 50% less power required than monohull vessels of the same volume, use of carbon for the hull, use of lightweight materials for all non-structural parts and all furnishing components. All these elements contribute to an impressive reduction in fuel consumption.

Experts of the calibre of Bernardo Zuccon and Piero Lissoni, who are tried and tested collaborators with the brand, have fully grasped the importance of such an avant-garde project, giving a “futuristic” contribution to the external lines and smart use of the interior volumes. The entire design is forward-thinking with a focus on refined comfort.
