Asia’s first Beneteau Oceanis Yacht 60 is set to make its debut in Hong Kong, launching on 6 July 2023.
To celebrate the arrival of Asia’s first Beneteau Oceanis Yacht 60, Simpson Marines is making exclusive viewings available to sailing enthusiasts and potential buyers in Hong Kong. Simpson’s brokerage team will be present to guide attendees through the yacht’s many features, providing valuable insight.
Sleek lines, spacious interiors, and thoughtful design elements characterise the 60-foot Beneteau Oceanis Yacht 60, which premiered at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2022.
This high-performance sailing vessel, from the French sailing yacht manufacturer, is said to deliver an exceptional sailing experience. The hull, combined with a powerful sail plan, ensures stability, speed, and manoeuvrability whether cruising along the coastline or embarking on an offshore adventure.
The Oceanis Yacht 60 ocean cruiser was designed in collaboration with Italians Roberto Biscontini and Lorenzo Argento – a working relationship that started with the First Yacht 53 three years ago. Featuring a gentle reverse sheer, the 18m hull profile of the 60 echoes that of its 54ft sister model.
The Oceanis Yacht 60’s exterior styling is very similar to the Oceanis Yacht 54, including the standard mainsheet arch, low freeboard, low profile coach roof and a hint of reverse sheer. Although the hull length is 70cm less than the previous 62-footer, the overall interior volume remains the same to create more space in the owner’s suite. This was achieved in part by abandoning a completely level cabin sole throughout the boat.
In March 2022, a brand new Oceanis Yacht 60 was sold into Taiwan by Simpson, with the sale coming shortly after the announcement of this new model by Beneteau earlier the same month.
