Conceived and developed by the yard's founder, former Olympic sailor Luca Santella
Asia’s first Bluegame BGX70 has arrived in Hong Kong, as of mid-November. Conceived and developed by the yard’s founder, former Olympic sailor Luca Santella, the BGX Line aims to offer a “seamless life at sea” through high levels of interconnectivity between the exterior and interior.
The 70-ft BGX70 boasts the signature reversed windshield that was previously only found on war ships and tug boats, but is now seen on Sanlorenzo’s SX line and Bluegame Yachts.
The special design of the hull shape has been tailored to perform in heavy conditions. The boat offers very safe walk-around and well-conceived mooring areas, and a new approach to engine room layout and disposition; enabling the yacht’s innovative interconnected layout with only one hatch for easy access to every apparatus on board. The unique layout, designed to combine shape and function, sees two-thirds of the space able to convert to a private owners space – the only boat on the market with this advantage.
The Bluegame brand places an emphasis on the more sustainable aspects of its models. The BGX70 features 100% recyclable moulds for some parts, a Volvo IPS system, refinement of hull lines for efficient performance and insulation of glass in the coach roof.
The BGX70 is currently available for viewings in Aberdeen, through Simpson Marine. Appointments can be made by emailing: bluegame@simpsonmarine.com.
