APS Seychelles new general manager, Peter Alvis, gained experience working with authorities for various clearances to ensure smooth port operations and efficient service to captains during his time with superyachts in Seychelles. APS says Alvis has knowledge of the country’s geographical locations, cultural sites and attractions that allows him to advise and prepare the best possible tour itineraries for captains based on their port stay.

“With experiences in world-renowned 5-star and Forbes listed hotel properties across Dubai, Ireland, USA, UK and the Seychelles, I am honoured to be leading the operations team at Asia Pacific Superyachts Seychelles,” says Alvis “Having personally looked after numerous high profile clients in the hospitality industry, I look forward to providing superyachts under our care with an excelling customer service as well as offering a variety of forethought plans to ensure that they are promptly given the best choices to avail of throughout their stay.”

As a superyacht agency, the APS team supports and assists visiting yachts while helping guests explore the impressive cruising waters in the area. The firm’s network now extends to the Andaman Islands, Borneo, Cambodia, Fiji, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Koh Samui and Phuket in Thailand, Langkawi in Malaysia, the Maldives, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Tahiti.

APS will also be exhibiting at the upcoming 2022 Monaco Yacht Show, where both Houareau and Alvis will be on hand to talk with owners, captains or managers.
