As the successful Cannes Yachting Festival 2022 ended on Sunday night in France, the partying went on into Monday morning, Asia-time

The largest in-water boat show in Europe, opened the boating season, and almost 650 exceptional boats and yachts, from five to 45m in length – monohulls, multihull, sailing, motor, with rigid or semi-rigid hulls, new or second-hand – were presented by the biggest international shipyards and some up-and-coming ones.

Sunreef Yachts was one of the many regular European shipyard attendees to present some of their newer fleet at the show

Cannes Yachting Festival celebrated its 45th anniversary this year and there was a particularly festive atmosphere as most of the world had resumed normal life after Covid-19. As well as checking out the form of yachts, marine toys, marina development and accessories stands in the exhibition halls, the Old Port and Port Canto, visitors – that included Asia-Pacific Boating publishers – attended a number of soirees, and those in the boating industry made the most out of the   convivial networking atmosphere.

Prestige Yachts’ dockside party drew quite a crowd at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festiva

Benetti were one of many international brands at Cannes who showed some impressive yachts, and held a sophisticated musical evening:
