Photos from the 2021 Rolex Sydney Hobart Race showed the tough start faced by sailors and fleet, along with the startling scenery of the Tasmanian coastline. The overall winner was Ichi Ban, owned and skippered by Matt Allen, while Black Jack took line honours after a three-way battle with LawConnect and SHK Scallywag from Hong Kong.
The race conditions were tough at the beginning and roughly one-third of the 88-strong fleet retired. The second half consisted of tactical racing in lighter conditions.
